Johns Hopkins Defines Lesbian as 'Non-man Attracted to Non-men'
Johns Hopkins University defined a lesbian as a "non-man attracted to non-men" in its LGBTQ glossary, but the Baltimore-based research institute removed the glossary after public backlash.
The school's entry for lesbian previously stated: "A non-man attracted to non-men. While past definitions refer to ‘lesbian’ as a woman who is emotionally, romantically, and/or sexually attracted to other women, this updated definition includes non-binary people who may also identify with the label."

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s publicly hosted a holiday party for an “electeds of color” group. A party that excluded all white members of the city council.
Wu’s party excluding white elected officials appears to violate at least the spirit of the Massachusetts Public Accommodations law, which strictly prohibits discrimination based on race or color in places of public accommodation like restaurants, hotels, sports stadiums or public buildings like the Parkman House.
Wu, a Democrat, seemed to violate a core tenet of the Democrat Party: INCLUSIVITY.

Photographer Vernon Merritt is no longer alive, but he didn't know or remember her name. She certainly is older than 70, if still alive, but it would be nice to know her identity and her story.

According to PISA 2018, (PISA- Programme for International Student Assessment ), the United States scored below the OECD average for math proficiency. On a scale of 0–1,000, the average score in math proficiency among education systems ranged from 592 in China to 326 in the Dominican Republic. The US scored 478, while the OECD average was 489.
Just 7 percent of U.S. students scored at the highest levels in math, compared with 23 percent in Japan and South Korea, and 41 percent in Singapore, the top-performing country.

The Breathe Act
The BREATHE Act is a proposal for a federal omnibus bill, presented by the Electoral Justice Project of the Movement for Black Lives. The bill proposes to divest taxpayer dollars from policing and invest in alternate, community-based approaches to public safety.
The bill also would end life sentences, abolish mandatory minimum sentencing laws and create a specific timeline to close federal prisons and immigration detention centers.

Here is a short story of how the enlightened Swiss handled the problem: Platzspitz Park.
The Platzspitz park is a park in Zurich, During the 1980s, heroin addicts would frequently gather at the park, and attempts to disperse them merely resulted in them regrouping elsewhere. Thus in 1987 the authorities chose to allow illegal drug use and sales at the park, in an effort to contain Zurich's growing drug problem. Police were not allowed to enter the park or make arrests. Clean needles were given out to addicts as part of the Zurich Intervention Pilot Project, or ZIPP-AIDS program. However, lack of control over what went on in the park caused a multitude of problems. Drug dealers and users arrived from all over Europe, and crime became rampant as dealers fought for control and addicts (who numbered up to 20,000) stole to support their habit. The once-beautiful gardens had degraded into a mess of mud, feces and used needles, and the emergency services were overwhelmed with the number of overdoses, which were almost nightly. Platzspitz, or Needle Park as it was then known, became a source of embarrassment to the Swiss government and in 1992, police moved in to clear up the park.
